The Advanced tab of the Edit Product interface allows the configuration of some important settings like Minimums, SEO, and Tax options
Last but not least, the final tab of the Edit Product interface handles some very important functions for your InkSoft products.
Processing Time
Note: This settings card will only appear for Pre-Decorated Products
On a blank product, you can set processing times on a product related to the assigned decoration methods. However, since pre-decorated products do not have an assigned decoration method, any overrides you would like to apply to a pre-decorated product can be done here. This will override any processing times you have applied via your configured delivery methods.
Minimums
Here you can configure your default minimums for all colors. You can apply variation-specific minimums on the Colors & Images tab, as detailed here.
Note that the Per Design/Art per Order option will not appear for pre-decorated products. Since that is a Designer-related setting, and pre-decorated products won't be edited in the Designer, we figured we'd spare you the inch of screen space.
SEO
Here you can configure your various store-specific SEO settings to try to optimize your product search engine ranking. Notably, you will want to make sure that the Web Crawlers option is enabled so that your product pages can be indexed by the search engines.
Tax Options
Here is where you can set the tax exemption status of a product, as well as assign the product a tax category (US only). This is important for making sure that your products are marked as the appropriate kind of merchandise so that our third party tax calculation integration can most accurately apply the copious amount of tax rules when determining sales tax. For instance, a tax holiday for apparel will need products assigned to the "Apparel" tax category for that tax break to apply. This is where you make that happen!
Google Product Feed
If you would like to leverage the Google Product Feed for your product, you will need to opt into it here. Note that either the Google Product Category OR the Google Product Description fields are mandatory in order for the product to populate in the generated file in the Site Tools area where your feed is generated.
Product GTIN/UPC
Each style and size will have their GTIN/UPC codes entered here. This will typically import as part of the blank product being imported into your account's product catalog.
