Create New Design Idea

How to upload or create custom Design Ideas for customers to use.

Navigating to Create New Design Idea: 

• Hover over Art.
• Select Create New Design Idea.

Create New Design Idea Options

There are two ways to create a design idea: 

• Upload Design: Ideal for completed artwork that needs to be brought into the system.
• Create New Design: Allows for the creation of a design idea in the design studio. Here, artwork can be uploaded, design colors changed, and/or text and design elements added. 

Upload Design: 

• To upload a design, select Upload Designs.
• Click Browse to pull up the design (.png, .svg, .pdf file types are suggested). 
• The design name, keywords, store, category, background color, and other optional features can be assigned. 

Note: If customers should be allowed to edit the text on the design, the text MUST be added through the design studio. 

• Featured: The design will display in the featured design space on your site. 
• Locked: This will lock the design and not allow it to be edited in the design studio.
• Save changes

Note: All designs must be categorized to show on the storefront, if they are uncategorized, they will remain in the uncategorized list shown below and will be unavailable to customers.

Create New Design

• After clicking Create New Design, the Design Studio will launch, this will allow for access to the designs and clip art catalog for further customization by adding text or design elements. 
• Click Save Design when finished creating the design.
• Name your design.
• Click Continue.
• Click on the 'x' icon to close the design studio. 

• After this, the design name, keywords, store, category, background color, and other optional features can be assigned to the newly created design.
