FedEx Meter Number

This guide explains what a FedEx meter number is and how it is used within InkSoft to support FedEx shipping services. It covers where to find or obtain your meter number, how it fits into the FedEx account setup process, and why it is important for calculating shipping rates and processing shipments accurately.

You will need to sign into your Fedex account to retrieve your Meter Number. If you do not have an account, sign up here.

Login to your Fedex Account 

• Head to https://www.fedex.com/
• Enter login credential

Developer Resource Center

• Scroll down to the footer and click Developer Resource Center

Get Product Key

• On the left click Fedex Web Services
• Click Move to Production
• Click Get Production Key

Application Profile

• Select No within the dropdown
• Check the first box (Fedex Web Services for Shipping(includes Rate, Track Etc.)
• Select Corporate Developer within the dropdown

License Agreement

• Click I Accept >> 

Contact Info

• Fill out the following information 
• Click Continue

Meter Number

• Copy the Meter Number
• Head back to your Admin Portal and Paste Meter Number into Fedex Account Credentials
