Add a New or Existing Supplier/ Manufacturer

This feature allows you to add integrated supplier product catalogs to your store and add custom suppliers/manufacturers

Navigating to Add a New Supplier or Manufacturer

• Hover over Products.
• Click Add New Product.
• Click on Supplier & Manufacturer.

Supplier

There are two options available for Suppliers: Add Custom Supplier and Edit Supplier.

Adding Custom Supplier

Selecting Add Custom Supplier will allow products to be assigned to that specific supplier within Manage Products (Note: This does not make that catalog available, it is simply a way to choose that supplier when creating/editing a product). 

• Select Add Custom Supplier.
• Enter the supplier's name into the text box.
• Select Save.

Editing Suppliers

Selecting the Edit Supplier option allows the setting of supplier-specific inventory control options or to delete selected suppliers. 

• Toggle to Edit Supplier, click on your selected supplier to adjust inventory options.  
• To delete a supplier, check the box to the left of the supplier, choose Delete from the Select Action drop-down.
• Note: suppliers from Inksoft's Integrated Supplier Feeds cannot be deleted and available options within them may differ. 

Manufacturers

There are two options available for Manufacturers: Add Custom Manufacturers and Edit Supplier.

Adding Custom Manufacturer

• Select Add Manufacturer.
• Enter the Manufacturer name into the text box.
• Select Save (Note: This does not make that catalog available to you, it is simply a way for you to choose that manufacturer when creating/editing a product).

Editing Manufacturers

In the Edit Manufacturer section, size charts as well as Manufacturer logos can be viewed, edited, or changed.

• To upload a new size chart of logo, select the Pencil icon beside the corresponding manufacturer to upload a thumbnail image, logo, or size chart (Note: multiple size charts can be added per Manufacturer).
  
  
• Select the desired document or image and upload (Note: best practice is to use PNG file types).
• The recommended image sizes are as follows:
  • Thumbnail images: 30 pixels high
  • Logo: 200 pixels wide
  • Size Charts: 1000 pixels wide
• Make sure to Save prior to navigating away.
