Custom Shipping is an option to create your own shipping accounts, such as Local Delivery, Flat Rate Shipping, or Free Shipping. This guide explains how to use your own shipping account within InkSoft to manage carrier charges and fulfillment more effectively.
Create a Custom Shipping Account (Optional)
You can access your shipping settings under Settings> Shopping Cart Settings> Shipping.
Note: Creating a shipping account is optional. If you already have an account, you can jump straight to creating a new shipping method.
- Within the dropdown Select Shipping Account
- Click on Custom Shipping Account
- Name your Customer Shipping Account (Local Delivery, Flat Rate Shipping etc.)
- Select Yes to make this account Active
- Optional: Sort Order allows you to decide which account shows first, second or third on your store front
- Click Save
