How to upload and view Custom fonts.
Custom Fonts allow you to expand the typography options available in your InkSoft account by uploading and managing your own font files. Adding custom fonts helps ensure brand consistency, supports unique design requirements, and gives users access to the specific typography needed for their products and artwork. This article explains how to upload, manage, and use custom fonts within InkSoft.
Getting Started
- Select Art.
- Hover over Fonts.
- Click Custom Fonts.
Overview
- Upload Font: Allows a custom font to be uploaded into InkSoft.
- Category Filter: Provides a quick way to filter and see fonts associated to a font category.
- Allow Font: Checking the box next to the font will allow the font to appear in the Design Studio. Unchecking will remove it from the Design Studio.
- Font Preview: Displays the name of the font as a preview.
- Font Name: Update and change the font name (Note: The preview of the font will update as well).
- Font Category: Allows the font to be moved to another category by selecting one from the drop-down menu.
- Delete: Deletes the Custom Font out of the account.
- Download: Downloads the font locally as a .TTF file.
Uploading a Font
- Select Upload Font.
- Choose either an existing category for the font to be assigned to, or a new category can be created for the font, using the Select Category drop-down (Note: A category name must be provided for New Categories).
- Select Browse Your Computer to select the font to upload.
- Type in the font name - this will update the preview as well.
- Agree to the terms and conditions by marking the Checkbox.
- Click Upload.
