Custom Personalization allows for customization options on static or pre-decorated products
For each product within InkSoft marked as 'pre-decorated' you can select 'Custom Personalization' to create up to five custom personalization fields.
These are ideal for team names and numbers, optional up-charges for different print types such as glitter, embroidery, rhinestones and more.
Navigating to Custom Personalization
- Select Products.
- Click on Manage Products.
- Filter for the product in question using the Select Filter Type option.
- Select Apply.
- Once inside the individual product settings by selecting the Product SKU, navigate to the Personalization Options section within the General tab of the Edit Product page.
- Note: the Pre-Decorated option must be checked before enabling Custom Personalization. Custom Personalization is only available for pre-decorated products. This can be found within the Options section of the General tab.
Enabling Custom Personalization
- To create custom fields, select Custom Personalization.
- Click Active under the custom field section to enable the specific field.
- Enter the Field Name (highlighted in red below) (Note: this will be displayed to the customer).
- The Description field is optional, but additional information regarding the personalization can be entered here to further inform customers.
- The Price field is where you enter in the customer's price for the optional personalization. (Note: if the field is required, a price will not be able to be associated).
- The Add to Cart button text is also customizable(18 character max). This is displayed below the last custom field option.
- Make sure to Save all changes before navigating away!
- After saving, the created Personalization fields will show within the individual product's page in the stores Product Catalog.
