Apply Distress in CorelDRAW X5
How to apply a distress file from InkSoft using CorelDRAW
Open the Art in Corel
- This will be the image you rendered without the distress

Import Distress
- Note: You can also drag the file in from the desktop or folder

Select the Distress

Size the Distress to Fit the Canvas
- In this example I just used the sizing tabs, but you can use whatever you're more comfortable with

Convert the Distress to Bitmap

Convert to Black and White
- Select Black and White (1-bit) in the Color mode: dropdown

Left Click the Transparency in the Color Palette

Right Click White in the Color Palette

Ready to Print
- Your art should be ready to print now. Don't forget to save your art work!

Print Separations
- The distress will be applied to the original art when you print
